snap!

I took Fred (my new SLR!) out to play in Santa Monica yesterday and took my first pictures along Pacific Coast Highway and the Santa Monica Boardwalk. It was so fun and relaxing, but it was a lot more difficult that I imagined, learning all the odds and ends to photography. Much more difficult to capture cool shots than I anticipated, so I've been very studious about reading the pamphlet! Hopefully I learn enough in time for my trip!
