Found this article about the San Francisco home of Alexis and Trevor Traina (daughter of romance novelist Danielle Steel). I actually invited the Trainas, along with their mother, to a TOD's event several months ago and was astounded by the San Francisco socialite scene, it is completely incomparable to anything in Los Angeles because they have more old money, etiquette, and inner circles. I digress. Written by Hamish Bowles for Vogue, the article features the couple’s renovation of their Pacific Heights Edwardian mansion (jealous much?). These two rooms in particular are to die for (the rest of the house isn't too shabby either), with all their bright white, sage green and lovely light. Take notice of the fabulous peacocks in the Dining Room above... where does one get such an item you may ask? Oh just a gift from A gift from Danielle Steel. Way to win the title of best mother in law ever!

You might want to edit this, after embarrassment cringe, of course. Alexis' mother and father are Swansons. Danielle Steel is Trevor's step-mother, she was married to his father.
