missing italy

i've been homesick (what do you call it when you miss a place that isn't actually your home?) for italy extra this week. it probably has to do with the sub-par italian food i've been having lately but these pictures of the south of italy remind me of my trip to the island of capri. it's so beautiful and charming, a little piece of heaven on earth! i'm itching to go back as soon as possible, which according to my financial situation (or i should say lack of...thanks, non-existent willpower) probably won't be any time in the near future. la dolce vita- i miss you, come back to me please!
