I've done multiple posts on how much I love when bookshelves are used a decor in a room. You can turn simple storage into a work of art, and my love for built in bookcases is no secret. I love these crisp shelves of Fitzhugh Karol and Lyndsay Caleo and how they mixed in more than books to create something interesting to look at with rocks, photos and a round mirror. Thank about what you could display in your own personal bookcase! I would love some dramatic photographs in high contrast so the binding colors of the books would pop.
