time flies

exactly one year ago, on august 16, 2008, i was boarding a plane at LAX to London, then to Florence, Italy for a four month study abroad program. i can not believe it's been a whole year, 365 days since then. it went so fast it almost makes me sad. i've experienced so much in those four months and in the past year, and it seems like yesterday i was in the mediterranean. with wistful reminiscing here is a gorgeous short film made out of 4500 still frames:
