you're my type

from time to time i like to fantasize about what it would be like to be a writer. growing up, reading was my favorite pastime hands down. since then i've come to terms with my lack of creativity to pursue this career path but it's still fun to think about sitting in a writing nook in my grown-up apartment on a rainy day typing away on an old-fashioned typewriter, bypassing the lightening fast advancements in technology. with the neck breaking speed of new gadgets being developed everything (i long for the days when i had a brick-like nokia that only had snake and texting as features), sometimes it's nice to just stop, step back, and revert to traditional ways of doing things. if it's not broken don't fix it, right? not to mention i think there's something charming about typewriters. there's no delete button, no quick fix. it requires more thought and care to be put into what you write. the cute pastel colors they come in help too.
