i hope you had the loveliest of weekends! mine was particularly fabulous, i had the most perfect sunday. first of all, it was a gorgeous day, the rain clouds finally went away and left crisp, beautiful weather in it's place.
second of all, dineLA is here! kristen & i went to taste on melrose and it was amazing. for a measly $16, i had truffle oil and mushroom mac&cheese, kobe meatball sandwich with mixed greens, and brown sugar gelato on top of apple crisp. i'm salivating just remembering it. we couldn't get over how delicious each dish was (and on the front page of the menu it greets you with, "hello delicious!" how cute!). the kobe beef literally melted in my mouth. the place in small but the outside patio was nice and apparently they have a great happy hour! must go back immediately.
then we casually made our way over to beverly center. i haven't been there in ages and went with the intention of returning a couple of items to save money. well...life never goes exactly as planned, does it? oops. in my defense, i truly believed i wasn't going to buy a thing! i don't know how this keeps happening to me. apparently i need to utilize the word "no" in my vocabulary more. welp! i guess buyer's remorse does no one a bit of good. (i bought shoes if you didn't get it from the pictures. ugh, they're like kryptonite to me). but no more. seriously. i must be strong. please help.i love the weekend, make monday go away!
