You rarely think of drapes in this day and age where windows are most often bare or covered with sleek blinds. But I love how really tall, long curtains give a grand luxurious look to a room. They can transform the feel to that of a chateau tucked away on acres and acres of countryside. Imagine these rooms without the drapes. A huge difference, no?
