i know, i know, it's only august. i'm clinging on to the last days of summer just like everyone else. summer is hands down my favorite season because of the freedom it entails and i've been savoring ever minute of it. but when i was walking to work yesterday morning there was that distinct moment when you feel a little chill in the breeze, even though you are perfectly warm because it's still a sunny, cloudless day, signaling the coming of autumn. i'm going to be sad when school resumes but i have to admit i'm very excited about dressing for fall. the september issues are all out on newstands now and they're dripping with the latest trends for the coming season, let me tell you they are divine. one of my favorites: booties. here's a selection from nordstroms that i've saving my pennies (literally) for.
